About Shannon Riordan
CMO (Chief Magic Officer)
From a very young age I have had an affinity for all things Disney®. My response to the Kindergarten project, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” was Minnie Mouse. I guess I came pretty close to fulfilling my childhood dreams by running a Disney travel agency in Overland Park and becoming a travel agent specializing in Disney destinations.
My background is in business and entrepreneurship. I completed the Disney College Program internship while in my undergraduate program which taught me about all things Disney® but also professionalism, customer service, and what it means to make magic for guests. I’m here to help you experience your dream vacation — and maybe fall in love with Disney as much as I do with each vacation!
I love travel, but even more, I love Disney travel. Nothing compares to the magic, customer service, and attention to detail and storytelling like Disney. Over the years I’ve visited Walt Disney World® Resort over 22 times (not counting weekly visits while employed as a Walt Disney World® Cast Member during my college internship), Disneyland® Resort 3 times, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai'i, voyaged 4 times on the Disney Cruise Line, and I have even been to Hong Kong Disneyland. Chances are, if you’re wondering, I’ve stayed there, ridden that, eaten here, and bought the ears!
Being a full-time working mom I know every minute and memory counts. By using a travel agent specializing in Disney Destinations, you are given back the gift of time and the opportunity to make amazing memories with your family that will last a lifetime.
As a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, Shannon is recognized as an individual who has attained a special knowledge of Disney vacations.
About Todd SMidt
CWO (Chief Wanderlust Officer) International Division
I'm a man of simple tastes. Traveling, words, whiskey, and dad jokes. I was born and raised in Nebraska and was in my early 20s before discovering how wonderful and exciting the world is.
In my past lives, I sailed the South Pacific on a cruise ship, taught Czech children how to speak English, backpacked across Europe, and swung drinks at swanky cocktail bars around Melbourne.
I love everything about traveling. The planning, the airports, the long flights, the early mornings, but more than everything- the people you meet along the way.
I've traveled both solo and in groups (planned multiple trips for 10+ people) and love them both for different reasons. Kansas City is now my home base where I help run a web design company and also my blog: Of Whiskey and Words which focuses on traveling and life.
My life motto is "This must be the place" as it inspires me to not only appreciate where I am at the moment but also to explore new places (over the past 7 years I've visited about 40 countries) this past year alone I went to Russia for the World Cup, Portugal, Greece, and Burning Man.
I hope to inspire others to see the world and check things off their bucket lists. If that means I do all the planning to make it easier for them that's a burden I'm all too happy to bear.
About Annie Pfeifer
I have always had a great love for travel. I rediscovered my love for all things Disney® after my first child was born. Since then we have visited Disneyland®, Walt Disney World®, and even Disneyland® Paris!
These frequent trips as a family have truly ignited my passion for travel planning and helping others to have the best travel experiences as well. I remember going to Disney® for the first time as an adult and having the stress of figuring everything out but also the joy of seeing the magic through my child’s eyes.
I will help you plan so you can experience less stress and more magic! I have done Disney® in a variety of weather and a variety of ways, so I can offer you great perspectives and considerations as you make important travel decisions.
