Sebastian’s Bistro Dinner at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Most of my Disney vacations revolve around food - Where are we going to dine? What is new we need to try? What favorite snack have I been craving since my last trip? So when I read about Sebastian’s Bistro opening at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort I immediately added it to the list of reservations I needed to get for our next trip! The concept art appeared to blend a sophisticated, yet casual, Disney dining experience with the whimsical touch of The Little Mermaid — and they nailed it!

We dined here in October and really enjoyed the experience. Our dinner reservation was on the early side, so the sun was still shining through the windows and sparkling on the chandeliers that made one feel as though they were “under the sea.”

This trip we stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, so we took a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios then rode the new Skyliner Transportation System for the first time over for our Sebastian’s Bistro dinner reservation at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Read about what to expect when riding the Disney Skyliner Transportation System.

Disney’s Skyliner Transportation System Over Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

I’m always reading articles, news, and blogs about the best things to do (and eat!) at Disney Destinations. Making expert recommendations for clients like you is a big part of my job as your Disney Travel Agent In KC, after all. I had read about the Caribbean Pull-apart Bread as an appetizer that must be tried when dining here. I confirmed with our waiter if this would be a good choice and he concurred. The bread is served with three accompaniments — a guava butter, onion jam, and Caribbean jerk oil. They were all delicious in such unique ways, I honestly couldn’t tell you which one was my favorite. Okay, maybe the onion jam. No, wait, the guava butter. You’ll just have to try it yourself on your next Walt Disney World vacation and decide for yourself! Since I was enjoying my vacation, I also ordered the Island Time Seasonal Margarita and the seasonal flavor at that time was Prickly Pear — yum!

Each person at our table ordered a different entree, which is always much appreciated by me, to sample multiple things on the menu! (P.S. Shout out to my family and traveling buddies who always have a great attitude when I make lots of reservations and plans for us to try things our vacations — and for being patient with me when I photograph all your entrees before you get to dive in. Love you guys!) Now back our regular scheduled programming of Sebastian’s Bistro Dinner at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!

I’ve included images of our entrees, including the Jerk Chicken, Coconut Shrimp and Grits, Fried Atlantic Cod, Sustainable Mahi Mahi, and the Kid’s Whole-Grain Penne (without red sauce, because he is 3 and I’m on vacation and not about to do that laundry!)

This is definitely a place I recommend now to clients. It is a refreshing option now at Caribbean Beach Resort and super convenient if you’re staying on this property. With the Skyliner Transportation, it isn’t difficult to get here though even if this isn’t your resort. It has a great atmosphere and vibe, professional and attentive service, and delicious food and drink — what more could ask for?
